The Public Service Alliance of Canada’s National Capital Region Pride Committee invites you to two important events in Ottawa. Please share this invitation in your network, thanks!
August 24, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Protest Russia's “Anti-Gay” Laws!
We are asking you to participate in this event. We will gather in front of the Embassy of the Russian Federation, 285 Charlotte Street in Ottawa. Let us stand in solidarity and support for our Russian sisters and brothers.
August 25, 2013: Pride Parade
Organized by Capital Pride, this parade will no doubt be a key moment in the activities taking place to celebrate the GLBT community. Proud to celebrate the achievements and victories of our GLBT community, we will be taking the time to promote ongoing issues. We are asking you to participate in this day. WE need participants to represent the different occupations of the public service on our parade float. At 9:00 a.m. you are invited to join us 233 Gilmour Street to « meet and greet », to decorate the float, and to put on a costume representing a public service occupation. We will also hand out flyers and PSAC Pride flags to onlookers on the parade route. PSAC-NCR will provide all promotional material.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
For any questions and/or to confirm your participation, please contact André Poliquin at poliqua@psac.com.
Let us show our pride in numbers!
In solidarity,
Your PSAC-NCR Pride Committee Co-chairs, Jacques and Isabelle
